I deliberately haven't registered for a game on Saturday night. I have a feeling there'll be an opening in something I haven't tried or a pick-up game of something worth playing.

She knows I'll be at the con and, although she doesn't like gaming, she does like watching gamers (especially me) game. She'll bring the littlest one, but the three older boys will be home with the sitter.

The die is cast - my plane ticket has been purchased. I'll be arriving at DFW after midnight local time on Thursday (technically very early Friday), which kinda sucks but was the best I could do. Presumably no gaming will be done that night but if anybody's up for some late-nite drinking and socializing let me know

Is the drinking age still 18? I went there when I was 19 in 1993 on spring break during St. Patrick's Day and it was one of the best times I ever had. Except when the stripper begged me for a dollar so she could buy a cheeseburger and then made dog barking noises.
