Joe, this is kind of your old stomping grounds, isn't it? Same area code anyway?

Nice to hear from the west coast contingent! Welcome guys!
North I have you scheduled to run a Friday morning game (now on the site). When/if you decide on the CoC scenario, just email and let me know (mikebadolato@ntrpgcon.com). We have Friday night, Saturday morning and Saturday night slots available.
Full-blown event registration starts Monday morning.

Looks like there might be a chance that my oldest son might be available to go to the con as well, my wife and my youngest are going to come along and play tourist as well. So it looks like the entire stone clann will be present with three of us gaming.Stonegiant wrote:Friday or Saturday I hope to register my son and I for this eventWheggi You and I are gonna have to bring some of our maps and stuff to show each other.
@ Grodog we definitely need to schedule a K&K gathering.
I want to hear what you did in the dungeon, not the voting booth. Politics and rules minutia both bore me in my opinion.

Have you read the forums on the site ??? or the main post when you hit the main page of the site ???grodog wrote:Ummm, what time Monday morning, Mike?
Why do I bother typing/posting this stuff when people like Allan don't even bother reading it
midnight, ie: 1st thing Monday morning... while everyone is sleeping... the events will automagically open for registration... 02/01/10

Backups
Yes, offsite backups push data into our servers starting at 2300 CST. I see 60 inbound connections pushing data until about 2330, then I see about 17 still pushing data, then it drops off to about 12 by midnight, and 9 by 0100 and by around 0200 there is only 2 or so left.
So yes, it might be SLOW at midnight trying to get on the site and pick a game to register.... but you need a challenge to make it worth it ... all that bandwidth usage levels the playing field for everyone for a couple of hours

Awesome! Your wife will have a great time; the hotel/area is right between Dallas and Fort Worth, and probably 20 minutes north of Arlington. Lots of stuff to do and none of it is a very far drive.Stonegiant wrote:Looks like there might be a chance that my oldest son might be available to go to the con as well, my wife and my youngest are going to come along and play tourist as well. Allan has talked to Doug and I about a K&K-only get together. We have several suggestions that we've given him so if you guys want it, it will happen.

It's in the area. I've lived in both Ft. Worth and Dallas. Even worked off DFW airport for a while, but that was, hell, 15 years ago now.tacojohn4547 wrote:Wow, this year's con is really shaping up nicely. If Allan doesn't read it, no one does. I also have a question about registration: what time on Monday morning is it supposed to open?GameMaster wrote:Have you read the forums on the site ??? or the main post when you hit the main page of the site ???grodog wrote:Ummm, what time Monday morning, Mike?

game registration
Matt,
Game event registration doesn't open for you until 0600... I might even set your games to not be available for registration until 2 days before the Con ...
