Was in Portland, OR for the week, and got to meetup briefly (my fault for being very late) with EoTB. By luck, the bar he suggested had Pliny the Elder. I'm not much into the uber hops thing, but I had to try it. Citizen Pliny was still pretty darn good. Sorry, no pics. So, did it really happen?

Yeah, the Pliny was good. I'll stick to porters and stouts, but it's a great change up.

Next time, dice and Pliny.

Desert Shrine and Purple Woem Graveyard. Sounds like a fun place to be.

Holy mackeral, Andy. Our Oktoberfest Run today came not only with a souvenir mug, but all the bier you can drink as long as the bier lasted. I have no idea what the bier was, but it was dark and free, minus the run fee. That's all that matters.

That almost makes a run worthwhile. Almost.

Zu viel Bier im Oktoberbfest.

No such thing!

Und Dachshund Rennen! More awesome than you'd think.

No running for my bier this weekend though. Thank the gods!

In Omaha for work and the misses flew out for the weekend. Currently at an old haunt and enjoying some local brews.
