It’s New England beer weekend thanks to the missus who brought a rather big box of beer back with her last weekend.

A fantastic brown ale from Nebraska. I’m on travel to Omaha, having dinner at one of the places my wife and I frequented in the early 2000s when we live here. She’s not happy that I keep sending her pics of our old haunts!

Nice!
What's the name of this brown ale? Where is it brewed?

A little Glenlivet in the studio this evening. Hope everyone is having a good night!

You should ping Paul Stormberg since he lives in town!

...and if you're ever in North Platte on the other end of the state, hit me up. I can take you to the new Pal's Brewing Company just outside of city limits. Although I've never been there, I hear good things about it, hopefully the booze is just as good.

Thanks! Sadly, not likely. I’ll probably be coming to Omaha, specifically Offutt Air Force Base, periodically for the foreseeable future.

Bad news is that I’ve almost now been to every brewery in Omaha. The other town I’ve been visiting a lot is Albuquerque, which has over 40 (forty!) breweries. That’ll take a little more work.

Keith, if you ever find yourself in the Milwaukee area during your travels, be sure to drop in and say hi!

Sweet, strong, very little carbonation, and kinda winey. Wasn't really my thing.
