Come on! So they can't make basic event registration work... there's still the Special Mystery Guest, cosplay prizes and a slew Pathfinder Society Games that never fill up. :D

Apparently the mystery guest was RA Salvatore but he can't make it (something to do with a 403 error I believe). But there may be a rousing game of werewolf!

I don't think I used a single Gold Piece last year, looks like I might not even use any Silver Pieces this year. Maybe next year I'll just downgrade to a spectator's badge if there is one and just plan on off-grid games from the start.

Guys- the server couldn't handle the surge despite our efforts to smooth this process after last year. We are putting together a fix plan. Likely it will require some time. More to follow shortly. I apologize as I share your disappointment. We thought the measures we took would be sufficient. I know this is a terrible disappointment.

Looks like registration is suspended until Tuesday at 9 pm est...

Dale Leonard
Event Registration has been postponed until Tuesday night at 9pm (EST). This will allow us to migrate GaryCon.com to another server that can handle the load it receives once a year. We apologize, but thought our new website would have been robust enough to work. It wasn't.

Check your carts! If you have something in there you might still be able to check out - remember the only way access the cart is to click on a game session.

Thanks! And you guys at ours. We're already plotting to run games of our own to supplement whatever we can still get into, when the fray recommences on Tuesday night. There's a bunch of cool events left, but if it's a repeat of yesterday, I'm likely to put my computer through the fucking wall.

There has got to be a better way to do this. :x

Jon Hershberger's game on saturday night has 6 slots open. I have one of them. I'm gonna try to get my oldest son in on tuesday. Let's fill that up with guys from here, if we can. Last year we had a couple of real bozos in one of his games that made it a lot less fun than it should have been.

I'm planning to try for Jon's Saturday game. I wanted to get into your game too Rich, but no luck...

Hahaha - I'll definitely have it with me for the Maure Castle games, just in case there are any critical hits OR any critical misses. I have another, somewhat similar, table I've developed that will start to get a little game table exposure in my home game now that the characters are *mostly* all above 10th level. I'll have this new table with me for GaryCon as well.

Thanks for the interest in registering for my games. I hope the games are memorable, for all the right reasons.

I had to delay decisions because of my passenger and missed the gold badges (I love swag bags) and now they're not going (I'm not fond of waiting until the last minute to tell people what you want to do). I still might go up without registering for games as I have the hotel already booked but I am leary of doing the long drive alone again. If only there was teleportation. Going would save me money on shipping for products I want. Ah well. It's disappointing to not go, but I will go next year come hell or high water.

I didn't even bother this year. Does it sound bad if I say that I'm not disappointed in the slightest?

I'll be hanging out working the counter at Lake Geneva Games most of the weekend. If you get some free time, come on over and say hi.
I reject your reality, and replace it with my own.
