My conflicting plans got rescheduled, so it looks like I'm good for Sat 8/23, after all. :)

Hey, PJ. Maybe we can carpool?
The DUNGEON MASTERS GUIDE City of Brass cover is good and bad at the same time. While its very representational of a high level adventure, it sends a clear message to the dumb: Satan is going to cornhole Miss USA with a big red member and theres nothing science or the military can do about it. - Gene Weigel

Sure, we should work something out. If you're willing to take your car, I can pay for gas (and take turns driving, if you like).

Good question. I'll have to get back to you on that.

I have room for 3 other people. Maybe 4 uncomfortably. Expecting my girlfriend will go.

Is there still room in the game for a plucky dwarf fighter? Also, it wasn't clear in the original post what exact game system we would be playing.

Hey! Steven, I presume.

There's still plenty of room. We kind of agreed on OSRIC as our default system, since it is the semi-official game of the K&KA.

Is everyone still good with OSRIC?

Fine by me. I have a copy, naturally.

You're in luck, TRP! I personally don't prefer the layout and some of the tiny differences between OSRIC & 1E, so I will be running the game from the 1e books. Hope to see you there!

Heck, that's even more "alehouse appropriate," IMO.

Be sure and post a game report here afterwards!
