"Pewter isn't strong boy. Plastic is stronger! Look at your miniatures. There. That beautiful dragon. Yes...come to me, my miniature!"

"You see? That is an undamaged mini! That is power! The strength and resilience of plastic. What is pewter to the hand that drops it? Hasbro gave you this! Tsk. Such a waste. Contemplate this in the bin of woe. Discount him."*
(* my FLGS has a $1 bin of ultra-common DDMs, you see...)

Re: Reaper Miniatures Kickstarter
That's exactly how many people fixed the bent/leaning figures from their BattleLore sets. For one example, see here. There was some guy who posted a guide (with pictures) on his blog, but I didn't poke around enough to find it, again. My google-fu must be weak (or my impatience is strong, or something like that...).DungeonDork wrote:i wonder if you could do hot water, bend it, then cold water to temper it?

That is what I did, hot water, bend, cold water. The results are mixed, which is to say some improvement but not complete success.
With regard to the detail of the miniatures, apparently the slightly translucent nature of the material may give the illusion of lower detail before paint is applied.

Re: Reaper Miniatures Kickstarter
My order is in transit, hopefully will arrive tomorrow. It's just the basic set plus a case in place of the sophie.
Now I'm tempted by the Dwarven Forge kickstarter...

Re: Reaper Miniatures Kickstarter
Did you get any extras? They said they would be shipping in order of complexity from lowest (no extras) to highest (extras).
UPS now says my order is "out for delivery".
