Assume some kind of hard-core DRM and no ability to print them off.

Is that what they do with the current 4E books?
I imagine it would all be treated the same.

Sadly, I think you guys are right. I was hoping for print on demand.

They don't offer any electronic versions of the current 4e books (except for the content that makes it into the Character Builder and Encounter Builder programs). For Dragon and Dungeon magazines, the articles are .pdfs with no DRM or printing restrictions.

Latest covers are now up on Wizard's site with product info. 'Advanced' has been added again.

They still have the page counts in the MM and PHB reversed. :D

Thank goodness. I was worried the "advanced" moniker might get reassigned to something else!

I am actually not loving them, but they are passable.

You and me both. While I admit that they don't totally suck, "awesome" is hardly the descriptor I'd use.

Apparently, all it takes to save Miss America is Photoshop.

Design wise, it's much too busy. The central focus should be the title and such plus the illus. The border is waaaaaay overdone and detracts form the main point.

Considering what those covers could have looked like, I can live with this.
