I was not a fan of the Gurkha when they debuted a few years ago. My time in the business left me with a taste for Arturo Fuente, Ashton, and Diamond Crown.

Alas, I no longer have the income (nor the employee discount) to support such tastes. So I'll grab an Ashton Corona or a Fuente Hemingway Short Story when I have some extra pocket money.

Not that I have much time for smoking these days. Oy! 8)

But I've found, over the last decade, my tastes have run to milder cigars. I used to like churchills and robustos. Now I prefer a corona. I used to like really stout cigars, especially in a maduro wrapper. Now I'm all about the Connecticut Shade and the milder the better.

But it really is a wonderful thing...there's a cigar out there for just about any taste preference.

This thread makes me want to drink some good beer...

The problem is that I'm sick, my throat is bleeding, I cannot drink anything cold... The good side, that I'm at home, off from work, I can drink in the morning if I want...

Jeez Dork...who is this respectable clean-cut fellow? I can hardly recognise him. In fact, if I was a (justifiably)proud father like Don Wheggi, I would even allow you onto the same premises as my daughter.

Ha! I clean up well.

Celebrating today, splurged for something nice:

"Maredsous Bruin" (Belgian Dubbel)

Fantastic flavour.

A sentiment I don't share. If Dork were anywhere near my daughter I'd skin him like an otter and hang him from a tree to dry.

Ok, it's official I have changed my mind. Dungeon Dork has betrayed his true self. I also send him off the future lawn in front of my future daughter's room. And don't try any of that Rapunzel shit, it'll only make it worse for you.

Had to scale it back, Widmer Bros' "Rotator IPA"

Hint of Citrus with a good hops aftertaste.
