AD&D I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF PLAYING!!!!!!!!

New PCs I rolled up a ranger cleric HE first one. Lets see what happens, Str. 16, W. 15 (or do you guys think I should reverse that before I start actual game play). The +1 damage is great, but the extra spell at second....also considering the level limits.

After some light gaming, I continued work on recreating a Conan: Beyond the Black River miniatures skirmish game I played at Fall In 2018 and 2019. It's a lot of fun to play! Thankfully, the guy who came up with it shared everything:

This afternoon the focus was on some of the monsters. It's gonna be awesome when it's done!

Unfortunately my weekend does not begin until Monday. I have plans to finish up another small project that I have in the works for Dragonsfoot. It is not an adventure. I do have another one of those in that should be online this weekend. And I am beginning work on a new Cepheus Engine adventure (Traveller). Even though I live in a fairly rural place most of us are isolating (when we can). I work in an "essential industry" so I am still working my normal hours/days (and overtime).

I finally watched a youtuber (Matt Colville) on how Fantasy Grounds works (the one that Nagora wants to punch in the face) and I might bite on that apple after all. My group is supposed to get together in Hangouts later on this afternoon, and I'll see how many actually show up and how well it works.

If its crap, I am more likely to adopt FG as a gaming necessity, rather than just an accessory.

Was supposed to have Sunday Morning Breakfast at the neighbors, but it snowed here, and no one else has showed up, and they have no porch lights on, so I'm assuming the neighbors are sleeping in, and Breakfast this AM is a no-go. We are all very well insulated against the outside world here, so we are not really worried about the coof, and we are masking, distancing, etc., and all that. I haven't been sick at all in the last 9 months (I had a mild summer cold/flu in July or August), so I know that I am not a diseased, contagion carrying, non-essential peasant, the neighbors spend all day in the fields (nice thing about farmers), and best of all, I am sure that this is not bat country.

GAAAAA! You just reminded me I need to do more work on the OSRIC wiki area!! I kinda let it go for a bit. I know there is some formatting in places that still needs work.

Celestian (who did the 2e FG ruleset and the 1E extension to that ruleset) has a video series here that you might find helpful, especially for grabbing content like published adventures and getting them into fantasy grounds.

Don't feel bad about letting projects go for a long bit. When I die I might become that patron saint.

Played a six person game of Eldritch Horror + a bunch of expansions (we won).

Prepping another BRP one-shot (a zombie thing, but they don't know that, yet). PC backgrounds have already been selected:
  • Wealthy Houston Socialite
  • Politician (Councilman)
  • Musician (Concert Pianist)
  • Photojournalist
  • Art Dealer

Rounded the last corner of my personal MOM fantasy grounds conversion; now at the "T"s with only the remainder of K&KA contributions + Steve Marsh's to go. Will also have to do some minor table creating for the chaos effects and stuff.

Had a fun weekend. I should probably have worked on the slides I need to review with my VP tomorrow morning, but I can always get up earlier....

On the gaming front:

- Dusted off my blog yesterday morning
- Ran some AD&D in Castle Greyhawk last night, with some new and some familiar faces from the GaryCon game a month ago
- Played some Blokus and RoboRally with Heather and the boys this afternoon and evening
- Afterword, worked on some more Castle Greyhawk design stuff

And now to bed! :D

Allan.

Spreading mulch. Had 15 cubic feet delivered. It's a lot more fucking mulch than it sounded like!

Lost power last night. It was restored this morning around 10am.

Brief meetings for a couple of side projects to outline next steps.

Managed the parish mailing list.

Tomorrow, Divine Liturgy in the morning and having a friend over to supper in the afternoon.
