So if we're going to do any kind of K&K gathering, we should start thinking about it in earnest: time's ticking....

If I'm not gaming, I'm in. Maybe we should have a KnK smoke hour, heh.

Or, we could do something everyone can attend. :P

Really, though, we need to come up with WHEN first. Currently, my free time is Friday & Saturday evenings. The days are booked.

Maybe during the dinner break on Fri or Sat? Also, can we do shots?

Maybe our games will end early one evening after a TPK and there will be plenty of time for K&King.

I'm kidding! I doubt I'll even bring anything to smoke - I hate hot weather unless I'm swimming. Some sort of meal event's probably the best option.

The Saturday evening Rob Kuntz session with a bunch of K&K guys and one of wheggi's old high-school friends as the players has "TPK within the first two hours" written all over it

I'm glad to see that my preferred style of D&D is prevalent. The drinking style.

You forgot the boobs. Boobs are important too, judging by your avatar, of course. ;)

If you've never gamed with Rob before, it's frightening to note how close this may come to reality this June....

To All:

It breaks my heart to announce this, but I am going to have to retract my participation in the NTRPGCon this year. While heartbreaking for me, this is actually good news:

As some of you know, work has been incredibly slow for me lately (I'm in the trades, and as you may have guessed we've been hit pretty hard) and in fact I've been in a quasi-unemployed status for the last couple weeks simply because there hasn't been work. The future was looking pretty grim, and the wife and I were getting ready to make the Hard Choices (lose the house, etc.). Still I intended to go to NTRPG con with some money I'd set aside for it. I figured I owed it to myself. Weeellll, I got the call today and we won a bid for a FANTASTIC job: 3 months of prevailing that will more than cover my mortgage, feed the family and all that other cool stuff. :D Unfortunately, as you may have guessed, it takes place during the summer, and there is no way I can make it to the con.

I apologize to everyone I was hoping to meet there, and I hope you guys understand. BadMike, if you could, please open up the spots on the table where I'm reserved.

Maybe next year, huh.
