On Dragonsfoot, he's the poster formerly known as Glaaki. Interestingly, according to a post by the delightful Mr Bradley on the Troll Lord Games forum, he's also the author of an unpublished LA game adventure.James Maliszewski wrote:Well, it helps in the sense that I now have names, although I still don't know who Spencer Wright is. I don't believe I've ever encountered the name before. Guess it's time to do some digging ...
And that's the publicly available information on him.
I find the business decision to replace Jeff with this person rather perplexing. And I've said as much to GGG.
Unfortunately, since that was in the same exchange when I pointed out that I can write 100,000 words faster than GGG can write a cheque, I suspect they may have seen me as less than sympathetic to their aims when I said it.

Well, Spencer hasn't been named as Jeff's replacement, as far as I can see. His role is as "Director of Operations & Product Development", and whilst that doesn't rule him out as "Lead Developer of Castle Zagyg", there is no indication yet that such will be his role.

Spencer is also a co-author of the Eldritch RPG supplement Eldritch Traps:

There are at least two other people that work for/with Gygax Games: Dan Cross and Jon Creffield. I don't know if they deal with anything outside of the scope of Lejendary Adventure, though.
Here's a bit more info on Spencer Wright, nothing too fancy:

Do you mean currently? Dan Cross co-wrote the Gygaxian Fantasy World hardbacks with Gary, so he's done more than LA. Dunno what he is working on now, however.deimos3428 wrote:There are at least two other people that work for/with Gygax Games: Dan Cross and Jon Creffield. He appears to be the creator of a game called Eldritch, which is said to have a style similiar to LA. (I don't know personally as I haven't even read it)

He has recently become (re)involved with Gygax Games. I don't have any further information than that, I'm afraid. See this post on LejendaryLands for some insights, perhaps.

Some news this morning related to Gygax Games' and the LA line. It may apply to CZ too, we'll see. No comment from GG yet.

Yep, that press release is available over at Mongoose Games as well: Gygax Games and Mongoose Publishing.
That Gygax Games have struck a deal with Mongoose Publishing is suggestive.
