[OSRIC] OSRIC and XRP at your local game store!

Post by jgbrowning »

Well, there's been a lot of hustle and bustle around the XRP office lately concerning our Advanced Adventures line of OSRIC modules. In brief, they're going to be available at your friendly local gaming store if they so choose to carry the product. Yes, old-school gaming will be back at the game store. :)

The Pod-Caverns of the Sinister Shroom by Matthew Finch will hit shelves at the end of March 2007; The Red Mausoleum by James Boney with hit shelves in May 2007; The Curse of the Witch Head by James Boney will be available at FLGS in July 2007; and The Lost Keys to Solitude by Joseph Browning and Suzi Yee should hit shelves in September.

But that's not all, fine reader! We also have two Advanced Adventure titles that as of yet have no release date; The Flaming Footprints of Jilanth by Andrew Hind will be one of the adventures and The Accursed Labyrinth of Zend by Bill Silvey with be a massive triple module series. That's a total of 4 adventures in the works, but without a set production date.

But wait, there's more! Expeditious Retreat Press and Ronin Arts have reached an agreement to put Ronin Art's First Edition Fantasy line into distribution as well. We don't have a set date yet on Into the Mite Lair, Smuggler's Bane, and Dungeon Hazards but we're expecting them to be released before the end of 2007 or at least by the biggining of 2008.

Our latest offering, The Curse of the Witch Head by James Boney is now available in PDF form and available for pre-order at our website. Thanks for the great adventure, Semaj! And if you're interested in the PDF versions of our products, they're currently on sale until March 5th at 25%-44% off.

So lots of news on the XRP front concerning OSRIC. We hope our products provide hours of old-school enjoyment to our readers!

Thanks to you, Semaj! Witch Head is a great adventure and coupled with Red Mausolem and Pod-Caverns I think we have a strong initial offering for the product line.

Great News! Now if I only had a local FLGS. I guess I will just keep ordering online but it is great to know people can start to purchase old school gaming materials the old fashioned way. :D

joe, will Alliance be a distributor? I believe that's who Galactic Games, my FLGS, uses.

Yep. I think at last count we have something like 14 different distributors in North America and Europe.

*sniff* new AD&D stuff at Galactic Games in Metairie, LA once again. Brings tears to this gaming veteran.

I'll have to poke Midnight Comics here in Houston to order some.

who are your distributors in europe? that would boost my standing with the gameshop-guy in koblenz concerning the osric-demo-game. because at the moment he just asks - and rightly so - "what's in it for me?"

Here's four that might fit the bill: Esdevium Games, Fantaspielpelit, Ulisses Spiele, and Welt der Spiele.
