Funny you should mention it - ever tested your dice? There's a fun experiment where you can put the softcore d20s in a heavy saline solution. They'll float. You can poke them gently, and some (many) of them aren't quite balanced, so they'll keep coming up the same number.

I have occasionally wondered how much "gamer funk" comes from the dice, dice bags, "lucky" shirts and other accoutrements.
