Speaking of which, they only need $234.00 more to gain zero dollars today.

I see I have been beaten to the punch, but, yes, let’s set aside this slavery/SJW aspect, please. It’s out there, it is what it is, and it would be unsavory to get up to our elbows in this muck.

I’ll throw you a bone, though, ready? Some of Frank’s original maps have been uncovered. Check it out:

Yeah, I'll share in the blame for the traction the political aspects have gained in this discussion, and I will back off those aspects.

However, I still know nothing about KS and how the money thing within that system works, except, the 'of course' that without $$, there is no KS. :)

Now... maps? Why those look a lot like what Monty is selling at exorbitant prices at his Empyoreaum!

To be fair, if everything goes as well as possible, I would expect all these fragments floating around to be nicely polished and presented.

What makes me somewhat sad is that if the venture does not go well, blame will be well spread on this forum, the "trolls" in the KS comments section, and probably plenty of other places.

That thought had occurred to me too, but the sun will always rise, and eventually I'll get out of bed to stumble over to my drafting table and keep creating D&D for my players. :)

Why worry when going through life if you might be someone else's excuse?

I think all our complaints are due to the obvious problems with this KS that should be apparent to anyone.
This website doesn't even really represent any of the game systems that this is being made for.
If it fails, it fails on it's own.
The DUNGEON MASTERS GUIDE City of Brass cover is good and bad at the same time. While its very representational of a high level adventure, it sends a clear message to the dumb: Satan is going to cornhole Miss USA with a big red member and theres nothing science or the military can do about it. - Gene Weigel

You're probably mis-estimating how that makes me feel. I said "somewhat sad", but even that is overstating it.

I think you mean, misunderestimating.

That is always the word that comes to mind first, yes. :)

What's funny is, Chrome's "spell checker" thingy didn't recognize "misestimate", so I had a crisis of confidence and put a hyphen in.

Obvious forgery. That is clearly a Zak S. map.

I'm sure this wasn't intentional, but the "Tim" map (despite being intended as an FU) is still better than Frank's. Sorry Wizardawn, your ability to draw shitty maps just can't top Frank. He appears to be a savant in that particular skill.

Lol sorry guys, I will refrain from any politically divisive messages such as confused doppelgangers and hairless dwarves. :D

But for future clarification, is posting quotes of his insane views that are being inserted into the setting allowed, if there is no commentary on them? You know, what we might refer to as the settings fluff in a normal project lol
