I haven't, and with Parsons totally blowing off New Orleans, the Mississippi gulf coast and Houston, it looks like I still won't. :(

Anyway, as much as I like their music, with Woolfson now deceased, I'm not sure I'd go anyway. It'd kinda be like going to see the Stones w/o Richards.

Hella talkbox.
The DUNGEON MASTERS GUIDE City of Brass cover is good and bad at the same time. While its very representational of a high level adventure, it sends a clear message to the dumb: Satan is going to cornhole Miss USA with a big red member and theres nothing science or the military can do about it. - Gene Weigel

Nice! I haven't listened to Dr. John in a couple years.
That must be rectified.
Thanks!

Just heard some Dr. John on Deep Tracks (SiriusXM) two days ago. Hadn't thought of him in decades, now twice I encounter him in the span of a couple days. Strange how the cosmos clump together things like that.

It's sad that Dr. John's accent is a vanishing one from the Big Easy. While his accent is somewhat thicker, it's the same one as my dad and his siblings. Mine comes and goes depending on the company I'm in, but it's never thick. It's possible Dr. John accentuates it for recordings and performance, but it's likely not by much. It's authentic.

Bummer, I wasn't aware he'd died.

I've been digging back into some Godspeed You Black Emperor and A Silver Mt. Zion lately.

I want to know what this bullshit, undead status Bun E. has now with Cheap Trick. He's officially back in the band, but he won't be recording or performing with them. Zombie Bun E?

It's time for the classic Picard ...

Bun E. Carlos is a god among men. Looks like a CPA, drums like a jackrabbit fucking, all the while with a smoke in mouth.

Oh, and listening to Tool's "Forty-Six & Two".

Listening to Crack the Sky's first eponymous album. 1975, obscure prog out of Ohio. Kind of the mid point between Max Webster's off-kilter hard rock and the Moody Blues' lush orchestral vocal harmonies, with the guitarist having a lot of Steve Howe in him.

"I woke up in a Soho doorway
A policeman knew my name
He said you can go sleep at home tonight
If you can get up and walk away"

I've been in a Jesus and Mary Chain kind of mood lately for some reason. IDKWTF.
