Many boards here may be read and posted to by the Public. Some Boards are "post/read restricted" to members only and those such as the Admin. Some Special Projects areas may only be read by Admin or Members who also have special permission. These Special Project areas access is determined by the Coordinator (moderator) of the Project area. Some are Public some are Private/Invite Only. To access such areas you must request access or be invited.

There is also room for special projects by board members that want to create adventures for OD&D and AD&D.

I only have FIVE RULES:

1) This board does not support D20 products or other related RPG systems (such as C&C, Spycraft, d20 CoC) aside from those specifically mentioned above in the site description, Fantasy or Otherwise. Discussion of D20 products is not allowed. There are 1000's of websites devoted to D20 games, this IS NOT one of them. So don't post about d20

1a) For some that missed the festivities of about a year ago. There was a complete lockdown on discussion of C&C. That lockdown is still for the most part intact. Typing TLG or C&C won't get you hammered; they have a product out that is (arguable depending on your perspective) as close to 1e as any system has come since 2e. The only restriction that still exists on the site is that like other editions or other games not on the favored list is that they are not allowed to be extolled on at length be it favor or flame.

1b) We try to maintain a small dispensation of discussions which include C&C and other systems (both d20 and non-d20) ONLY within the comfy confines of the Theory & Design area since it is difficult in the realm of theory to completely ignore the other systems or editions. Old School quality products shine and will be recognized as such, but at K&K Alehouse, it is the sole decision of K&K Alehouse as what is to be considered Quality. In these cases, moderation will be active and make sure that discussion does not enter the realm of blatant promotion or flame.

1c) Discussions that broach this “limited area restriction” in any other forum areas will be dealt with on a case by case basis by the Moderators and the Admin. This is NOT an open ticket to begin comparing and contrasting D20 or C&C vs. AD&D or OD&D or any other supported game here at K&K Alehouse.

2) This board does not support the "other" editions of D&D (Moldvay, Cook, Mentzer) nor AD&D 2E. If you feel you must expound at length on these other versions, feel free to go to Dragonsfoot or Enworld to post them there.

3) No Feeding of the Trolls. Trolling posts will be deleted upon discovery.

4) There is a Terms of Service agreement you must agree to when you sign up. Read it. Abide by it.

5) These rules are subject to changes without notice at the descretion of the Admin.

Breaking of rules 1-2, the first time, will result in a warning. The second time will result in a Ban.
