Rients’s game sounds really great.

Those giant canvas posters of the Gygax module covers are really spectacular. Like, PERFECT reproductions. I wonder who got those done?

Yeah, those module cover posters were pretty awesome. In one of the larger gaming rooms, they had similar posters of the G-series module covers, and in the 'hearth room', they had a cover poster for Tomb of Horrors behind the Memorial DM Seat that's set every year to remember Gary's role as THE Dungeon Master.

Good times all around! Thanks to all of the players in my two Barsoom games, several of whom are regulars here at K&KA! The games were great fun for this referee!

And thanks to all of the GaryCon IV attendees that came by the Black Blade Publishing booth, whether you bought something from us, came by to talk shop, or just came by to visit. Either way, we appreciate the support!

Your Barsoom game was really fun. Klang Jr. has already started to bug me about running a Mars campaign.

And he wants to register here to post.

It was good meeting all of you guys at the con.

Very cool pictures!

That Barsoom game was S-I-C-K-sick! I love how we almost had total failure at the last minute. All weekend I was thinking about how I could put together a whole campaign on Mars based on just the fighter but with some skills rolled randomly from the other classes, so that way all of the characters are "Fighting-Men of Mars." ;)

It was great to meet you guys. I am glad Clang Jr. had a blast. If I can financially swing it, I will bring my 14 year old son next time.

Yeah, too back somebody stuck up a POS Shadowrun poster on the wall between G2 and G3.

LOL! I kept looking at it and wondering how it got there. It was just oddly placed where there was an entire bare wall. I thought maybe someone (at one point) ran a Shadowrun game at the table next to the poster.

Had a great time at the con! Gaming and drinking beer with fellow Alehouse members was a treat. Thank you for the great time, folks!

I don't believe so. I only showed up for Friday and it was really only for a couple of hours. Many games were in full swing and I didn't want to interrupt any of them. I already knew Dan Proctor, but talked with him for awhile. I got to meet Jeff Sparks, Allan Grohe and John Adams...but all of these guys were at booths so they were able to chat. I met Chainsaw but it was only because their group took a short break. That was pretty much all she wrote for me. I bought some stuff before I left. That short visit I had just showed me that you can't really "pop in" to Gary Con. I will probably sign up for the whole weekend next year for me since it is only a 4 hour drive away.

My kids (the girl in the white GaryCon I shirt facing away, and her brother to her right) report that the apple does not fall far from the tree - that is, francisca III ran a great game and that they had a blast.

So on behalf of myself, my wife, and my kids, thanks for all the time and effort Francisca - that kind of success is the result of love and care and hard work.

Excellent!

As a side note, the number of young folks (under 21) at GaryCon IV this year was quite amazing. I sense a trend...

Thanks!

I'm guessing we walked by each other 50 or 60 times....
