That is my son (Klang Jr.) and myself to the right of that picture. I played a dwarf thief, and Klang Jr. played a human ranger. The whole party lived through the adventure.

Is there much (if any) wargaming at GaryCon, or is it strictly RPG-ville?

There is a sandbox table. Last night some people were playing Chainmail in it. There was also a table of Circus Maximus and a table of some jousting game.

I ran a tournament game tonight and this gal playing a dwarf thief literally got ripped apart by a giant octopus! It was awsome. It took her to -16 hp.
