What you doing this weekend?

I made some pies for a belated pie day.

Went to a small seminar about hazelnuts (getting some bushes/trees this year).

Took my son to his Outdoor Pursuits thing for 4H (basically teaching woodcraft/survival skills).

Today just doing whatever. Bound up some copies of Gaslands and Car Wars.

Oh, also cooking the brisket I corned for yesterday but didn't get a chance to braise it. In the oven now. Should be ready Real Soon Now.

Went for a 40 min bike ride this morning. Girls are at the neighborhood park. Boys are playing WH40K (turns out I was wrong, it's not space marines vs. orks, it's Gorkamorka). I'm marinating chicken thighs to grill for dinner. Got a six pack of Karbach Weekend Warrior icing down, right now. Kismette (my wife) is at the store getting some vegetables to oven-roast.

Chance of rain this afternoon. I'm hoping it holds off. I can grill in the rain, but it isn't my favorite thing...

Friday night we continued our DJ: Mythus game. Saturday I spent time getting the pool back into swim season shape. This morning was spent continuing to convert the The Moathouse to DJ:Mythus, and we hung out at the Irish Italian parade. It passes a half-block from our house, so that was pretty easy to do. We caught enough cabbage, carrots, potatoes and onions to make a nice soup. :)

Philotomy, I made two more pies this weekend, using your wife’s recipe, and got lots of compliments. Delicious!

In honor of St Patrick's day I got three crowlers from a local craft brewery. (well, not really in honor of St P's day. I would have done it anyway) :D

Awesome! I'll be sure to tell her. She will get a kick out of that.

Attended my god-daughter's wedding on Saturday, down in MD, at a beautiful and moving ceremony.

Hoping to get Ron and some of the other Hyqueous Vault playtesters to sign the signed-and-destined-for-the-NTX charity auction booklet this evening, if that comes together.

Heading back to KS tomorrow, which will be two weeks away from Heather and the boys (they were at Disney over Spring Break and arrived home after I left for the wedding).

Allan.

Working on three projects.... Most likely the first one but depends on writer's block.

Writing a D&D-style module based on a gamebook I wrote.
Writing a sequel to the gamebook.
Writing a novel on a completely unrelated thing... (but it still takes place in the same world).

Trying to get off my butt and go for a walk because I sit too much :p.

Okay. That's four things. Counting was never my strong suit.
