comprehensive list of AD&D spells, from PHB and UA

Post by francisca »

Somebody out there must have already compiled this in plain text or as a spreadsheet already, but my google-fu is weak.

I'm looking for a compilation of all of the spells listed in the PHB and UA. What I'm looking for is something like this:

PHB Magic-User 1 "Affect Normal Fires" Alteration

Where the fields are: Source book, Class, level, Spell, Type

A list or spreadsheet in this format of all of the PHB and UA spells would be really handy for me to have for a little side project I'm working on.

Anyone seen anything like this?

Some guys in our local play group created a random treasure generator, and it may have most of that info in it (used to generate random scrolls). I'll poke them to see if that's the case or not.

IIRC, it's posted for download from DF, too... ah yes, this is it: http://www.dragonsfoot.org/php4/archive ... atchfile=0

Yeah, sorry: I pinged the guys on our board to see if the files are available separately.

Kellri, may I ask how you selected which resources to include in CDD#2? (Great work, by the way.)

All the PHB & UA, and World of Greyhawk spells, along with 0-lvl spells for clerics/druids from DMag. All carry a notation showing their original source. As per OSRIC the named spells have no names, although a chart in the back lists these original names

That's a real thing?
The DUNGEON MASTERS GUIDE City of Brass cover is good and bad at the same time. While its very representational of a high level adventure, it sends a clear message to the dumb: Satan is going to cornhole Miss USA with a big red member and theres nothing science or the military can do about it. - Gene Weigel
