Is there a list of monsters with ESP or equiv. powers?

Post by AxeMental »

Curious if anyone knows of a list of the monsters (from the original MMs) that have telepathic or ESP powers? I started Maur Castle this weekend and the players had a run in with a willow wisp. It doesn't say the creature has any telepathic powers, but the monster description says its capable of surrender and will trade its treasure to be let go. This insinuates some sort of ability to communicate I imagine. What other monsters have this sort of ability insinuated or mentioned? Anyhow this would be a helpful list.

I assume the will-o-wisp communicates via Morse Code ;)

Though I really doubt it knows ASL.

Originally I was going to have it start rapidly circling the hollowed tree log where its treasure was kept, then I thought about breaking from combat and blinking over the log (so kinda morse code...then I realized, hell if this thing has the time to do this before getting blasted it could just hall ass and keep its treasure. :?
