Wheggi -- Yeah, Riker is checking her out, too, but he's got his phaser set on stun. That puzzle is from 1973. I found it in my grandfather's attic 5 or 6 years ago. Ahh, yes, 70s Playmates were awesome, eh? No photoshopping. Just real girls on film. Like Duran, Duran. I digress.

At my challenge, by the ancient laws of combat, we'll meet March 26, 2PM sharp at Lake Geneva Lodge, to settle this. Be there!

Where ya gonna be when the hammer comes down?
Can you outshoot the Devil? Outrun his hounds?
Ain't nothing to it but to stay above ground.

Stephen Colbert: “What would you do, when coming up with your character you roll six rolls of three six-sided dice to come up with your character”
Joe Magliano: “There’s a new way now where you roll 4d6 and you take away the lowest.”
Stephen Colbert: “Really? That’s for children!”

I bought some RuneQuest stuff recently - RQ2 (1980 box), the RQ3 (1984 box) and Cults of Prax/Terror. The RQ3 box came with some dice, including a couple 0-9 d20s. Pretty cool.

Heh, looking at the pic before reading the caption I was like "those look just like the dice out of my RuneQuest set!"

Re: Dice - Show 'em if ya got 'em!
This is just a small selection of my dice collection. Like everyone else, I have a crap-load of 'em; plastic, hand-made terra cotta, and giant metal. But those shown here are my originals. I've had these babies since...[thinking]...1978. The clear ones were a Christmas present from my brother who was killed a few years back by a hit-and-run (Old Santa Susanna Road at Topanga Cyn for those who know the Valley in So. Cal.). The SOB drilled out holes in a couple ratty 2x4's, sandwiched the dice in between, then glued, screwed, and nailed the boards together. When I finally managed to pry the boards apart, the die went sailing across my dad's garage. Took me hours to locate them after that. The angled d6's in the front were commandeered from my maternal grandfather's games. I thought the old bone dice looked cooler than my hokey plastic ones. That old chewed up white d20 was abducted by my gold lab circa 1980. Had my hand halfway down her throat to get it back.
I painted the ceramic mage's hat in the background to hold them in.
Yes, I have lots of dice. But this small set is very special, very personal, and always adorns my game table when I get a chance to play at the table.

Dice with significance are the best.Kramer wrote:Yes, I have lots of dice. But this small set is very special, very personal, and always adorns my game table when I get a chance to play at the table.
P.S. I have been meaning to get some bone dice for a while. Something cool about rolling with bones!

I have the same black armory set, with the teeny d4.T. Foster wrote: Forgot to mention the two 6-siders with skulls for the 1s that I bought at the same time as the d% (when I started my Mythus game in 1992). There's also a few stray extras - a red d10, a purple 0-9 d20, and a black d6.

Had these on my shelf, unpainted. Thought I'd go with Constructicon green and purple. Not the best photo but you get the idea.
