Around here they do. You'll find just about any Choctaw, Opelousa or whatever tribe family getting together and eating turkey with oyster dressing and such.

Yeah.. contrary to media "OMG!" hype, seafood, including oysters, are to be had around here from non-contaminated areas. Albeit, the price is up, because BP, and friends, did manage to f-up some areas. But hey, we can be Thankful that they didn't trash the entire coastline. :D
