2,000 Light Years From Home - The Rolling Stones
I heard somewhere that the Stones had heard Floyd in concert and they were inspired by them to write that tune. I wonder if that's true.

As much as I deeply love Crimso, I think this is strongly a D&Dish song, but not necessarily astral travel, etc. YMMV. :D

I've never heard that, but I wouldn't doubt it. I know they were heavily into psychedelic music at the time and that, for example, "She's a Rainbow" was inspired by the Love song, "She Comes in Colors."
