Why would that be a bad thing? Adaptations of classic tales in affordable and accessable formats would be a good thing IMO. That's a large reason for the recent increase in manga format sales esp. when compared to comic books. There have been several rather good anime renditions of classic European fairy tales. From intro clips on YouTube they would work fine with a good dubbing. There are also the many Studio Ghibli films influenced by European themes, most of which are professionally dubbed and distributed in the US by Disney. Including a palatable version of Tales from Earthsea, flawed by being a first picture by the son of the studio head but still better than what SciFi Channel released.
