Thanks. My mom's a pediatric ICU nurse of 30+ years, but I'm happy not to need her expertise with Henry!Piper wrote:I specialize in taking care of sick babies at the hospital at which I'm employed. I'm happy for you that yours is healthy and that mom is doing well.

It is a joyful thing indeed to hold intimate converse with a man after one’s own heart, chatting without reserve about things of interest or the fleeting topics of the world; but such, alas, are few and far between.

Congratulations on a fine-looking son. I remember you mentioning that you had some trouble last year so I'm doubly glad everything has worked out so well

Catching up on some other posts:
Did Paul kill all of the PCs?
Thanks, sepulchre. Coincidentally, most of the boxes are now out of the way again (many were books to be moved back in Heather's mom's room, which was also repainted in addition to Henry's and Ethan's rooms), so I should be able to dig up D3 again soon....sepulchre wrote:So this is what the painting the rooms was about in the Mega Dungeon thread. Congradulations. Hey, maybe we can find out now about the 'crevasse' in D3. In all seriousness, a happy day. Many congrats to you and your wife.
Yep: she got the "get of prenancy free" card (well, not really free, per se, since we had these rooms painted, and new baby furniture to get, and....). More seriously, she's doing great, and feels better than she has in about 8 months (the pregnancy was pretty hard on her this time around).stranger wrote:Great news, and at that size I'm sure his mother is glad he didn't wait another month.
Thanks Trent. The operation Heather had in Jan 2007 is what allowed us to get preggo with Henry, so it's good to be over all of that now!T. Foster wrote:Congratulations on a fine-looking son. We need an official OSRIC version of that shirt, Stuart!PapersAndPaychecks wrote:
I didn't make it in time for the birth---Henry arrived as I was sprinting through the Milwaukee airport toward the security line [that they let me cut through, thankfully])---but everything turned out OK in the end.Deogolf wrote:Congrats to the Grohe family!!
We were worried that you weren't going to make it. Sure put your involvement in Paul's game to an abrupt halt!![]()
