You've got 4 seconds to promote Osric, what would you say?

You can talk about "almost" anything here.

You know what, in the heat of the action with me screaming at the microphone - I totally forgot to say anything about Osric. LOL.

Well I might be able to add it during the post-edit. The show doesnt go out live, so i'll need to find a break in the conversation at an appropriate time and insert it - if there is one.

/me hangs head in shame.

Bearing in mind that you cant say Dungeons & Dragons, but I can. What would you say?

I'd be okay with a translation as long as it doesn't accidentally give additional rights to the French version. The underlying copyright to the derivative work would have to remain with Stuart, and your release of it would have to be in pdf form. We've avoided giving out an electronic text version to anyone, in order to prevent "alternative" versions being produced. The reason for this is to make sure that people can find the "official" OSRIC easily on the net without having to cull through "house rule" versions.

Other than those restrictions, I imagine that it would be fine, provided that the license and all that remains in place. You'd need to keep the English licenses as the "legal" ones that apply, although you could translate the licenses and just warn users that the English version is the applicable grant of rights.

I only want OSRIC being available on the net for french readers. No money will be made in translating it into french. I only want a french revival of the First Edition.

I'm actually working on a translation of RJ Kuntz's Dark Druids, but the rights pertain to Mister Kuntz, of course. I'm not a professionnal game translator or designer, it is for me only a way to share my 23 years old hobby...
