Play-by-post die rolling?

You can talk about "almost" anything here.

Play-by-post die rolling?

Post by Lance Hawvermale »

Because my core group is now so scattered geographically, I'm considering trying some play-by-post. Actually I'm thinking about play-by-IM, as this is much faster (at least it is when we can all be online at the same time).

Anyway, are dice rolls just done on the honor system? Or is there an online dice-roller we can use?

Thanks,

L

I think the best place to play by post is here which has an inbuilt verifiable dice roller, character sheets, character groups, and various other funky roleplaying-specific features.

If you don't want to use rpol, I'd suggest this site for verifiable die rolls.

You can also use THIS die roller and have the players send the result to your email.

I've been playing a Play-by-Email game, in which I'm the DM. I simply do ALL the die rolling.

Thanks for the tip PapersandPaychecks! I'm registered now. Now I just have to do some investigative lurking to figure out which one I'd like to join.

Well, my group began playing on RPOL just over a month ago, and already we've logged over 1000 posts. It's great!

Thanks!
