This thread got me to go to the WotC D&D site, which got me to see this:

http://dnd.wizards.com/products/tableto ... s-outlined

Which actually looks pretty effin’ awesome.

WOTC might get my $ after several years. My girl would love that coloring book.

I bought it for my brother's birthday (because I wanted it for myself  ), and actually leafed through it today when I visited him. Curiously, it is very AD&D. Most of the monsters are from the MM1 (with some MM2 additions), and the art is pleasingly non-contemporary, with an honest charm. I don't care too much about modern D&D, but this one product surprised me in a very good way.
"D&D is the ultimate right wing wet dream. A bunch of guys who are better than your average joe set out into the middle of nowhere where they murder and kill everything they come across in order to stockpile gold and elaborate magical bling. There are no taxes, no state and any poor people that get in your way get their village burned to the ground. It's like Ayn Rand on PCP." - Mr. Analytical

The next time I'm in Barnes & Noble I'll have to thumb through a copy. Thanks for the heads-up :D

Aaaaand the survey is now closed. I guess they got enough information that they wanted or found too much information that they didn't want...
