Apparently, The Clone Wars CGI television series is coming back after it was cancelled for Star Wars: Rebels. I am kind of excited about it because this suggests that Disney are willing to court the fan base, but I am also cautious because they may end up doing a bad job of it. Since it seems to be the same creative crew as previously, I am cautiously optimistic, as the original run was a lot of fun to watch with my son.

Re: Star Wars: Return of the Clone Wars
But wasn't Rebels recently cancelled as well?
Me is confoozed.
My heart hasn't been in Star Wars since RotJ in '83. Since then it's been pretty meh/*shrug*. RotJ paled in comparison to Blade Runner a year previously IMO.
I'm effing sick of entertainment regurgitation. Come up with something new, dammit!
I just heard that there will even be a Buffy reboot.

Re: Star Wars: Return of the Clone Wars
I am not sure, but I do not think that Rebels was cancelled. The fourth season was slated to be the last season six months before it aired. Now they have the resources freed up, they are going back to finish The Clone Wars, which is surprising. They are also doing some Resistance themed cartoon.
