Damn! Apparently, I'm a real slacker as a conventioneer.

grodog, I had fun in your Greyhawk and Warped Tsojcanth games; it's that I'm just piss poor at retaining convention notes and maps.

I *would* dig around in my convention files to see what notes I have from my playing in Allan’s Castle Greyhawk convention games, but I’m afraid those files have the same problem as my files on the campaign play I’ve had in Allan’s World of Greyhawk campaign:

those files are empty as I’ve played ZERO games in either. :(

Sounds like its time for a Black Blade retreat.

I think you mean Black Blade Con ;-)

Have it KC so we can get some gaming and some burnt ends :-)

Thats about 7.5 hours give or take for me and you, a very doable drive.

I second this.

Hmmm. Well, if we timed "Black Blade Con" to coincide with TsunamiCon (5-7 October in Wichita), there would be other gaming options available as well....

Allan.
That timing would make it impossible for me to be involved in any capacity, under my current employment situation. Between August 1 and October 17, excluding the trip to Gen Con, my workload rises significantly, to where I’m working 6 days a week, 14 hours a day.

If nothing else he might have the most complete player record :-)

Edit: WK Nolan drew the map ;)
Ron:

I don't think that was the Iounic Caverns. I think the dungeon had more to do with some interplaner gates which would have been interesting had we found one. Remember we spent have the half the game session trying to get through a standard metal gate because nobody had a Knock spell.

That sounds like a fantastic idea. Back in the day miniature wargaming guru Duke Seifried turned his entire house into a bed & breakfast so he could host wargaming retreats. If I had been anything other than an impoverished college student at the time I would have jumped at the chance to say...spend the entire weekend playing through Helm's Deep or Waterloo with the Duke. As far as I know, in the UK Peter Guilder was doing something similar - also with pretty lavish setups.

Does anyone think such an idea could be profitable in the US - perhaps by marketing itself as a corporate team building event?
