Decided to play D&D tomorrow with the local crowd as part of a joint birthday party for my brother and I. Problem is, we're getting close to finishing KotB. Any ideas for a low prep follow on (we want to use the same characters and do something I can plop in the neighborhood of the Keep).
I am crushed for time as I am leaving the country Sunday -- any thoughts on something easy to run for levels 1-2 PCs on little or no notice?

I’ve done the uzh — put B1 in for Caverns of the Unknown — as well as placed the Holmes sample dungeon underneath the Keep (various spots in the Keep lead to different rooms down there). But why keep them in the vicinity? In my game, when the PCs told the curate about the cult of evil chaos, he said it reminded him of rumors coming out of his colleague Terjon in Hommlet, and sent them along.

Use Pod Caverns as the Caves of the Unknown, which can be expanded however you wish via the underground river bisecting the Pod Caverns.

I'd go with L1.
These may also offer some at-a-glance inspiration:

The Dragon adventures are @ http://www.aeolia.net/dragondex/adventures.html (but no level guides; Chagmat and Can Seapoint Be Saved? are both good and low-level) and the Dungeons are @ http://www.purpleworm.org/tools/Dungeon ... eIndex.htm (use the level filters to narrow-down your options; Tweet's DMG Monastery dungeon is for ~3rd PCs in 3.x terms and is pretty flavorful if you don't mind the conversion work; also Caermor by Nigel Finley in Dungeon #2 is decent---reviewed @ http://tenfootpole.org/ironspike/?p=2100 ).
If you've got Jeff's various ASSH modules, you should be able to leverage Ghost Ship of the Desert Dunes (levels 2-4) after KotB, and perhaps Rats in the Walls with some beefing up. (Assuming you haven't all played those).
Several possible ones in Knockspell:
- Melan's various "Isles on an Emerald Sea" pieces
- Matt's "The Tower of Mouths" from KS3
- "Operation Unfathomable" by Jason Sholtis
Also: James Boney's White Dragon Run from XRP.
Allan.
