Dinner life advice from my Twitter stream

Dance like nobody's watching. Love like you've never been hurt. Maintain pike intervals like there’s a maniple of legionaries charging who will close to sword range if you fuck up and give them an opening and then you, and all your battle brothers, are meat for the Roman beast.

I seldom bother; they don't listen, they just sit there, strong and dumb, on their mountain.

I reject your reality, and replace it with my own.

All things come to those who wait. Or at least, all the things that are left after the side that won the initiative has finished.

If someone says 'I didn't know' - that's a lie. They knew, they just wanted any possible witnesses to think it was all a big mistake.

If it was in fact all an 'orrible surprise, what were you two doing in that hotel room for 2 hours? Watching CSI?
