Are you suggesting the Alehouse is due a consulting fee?

Yep. We just saved them an excruciating 4 more weeks of failure.

How long until someone asks why the goal was 250k to begin with and the revision is the same exact crap and 97.5k?

They should be typing it up right now, before they even start the re-boot. That would show just a smidge of good faith for potential backers. Hell, at least blow smoke up their asses to coax that checkbook out of the pockets!

Yet we still won't see it for 1e/osric.
Thanks for nothing you fucking fuck.
The DUNGEON MASTERS GUIDE City of Brass cover is good and bad at the same time. While its very representational of a high level adventure, it sends a clear message to the dumb: Satan is going to cornhole Miss USA with a big red member and theres nothing science or the military can do about it. - Gene Weigel

I seldom bother; they don't listen, they just sit there, strong and dumb, on their mountain.

Hey look, they are using my idea!
What is the Empyreal Census?
All of the character descriptions are collected into the Empyreal Census for use by designers of future Loxley products. When we need characters for a town or adventure, we'll use your creations!

Meh. I still wouldn't see much use for this setting as described thus far. Granted, there is still much we don't know but some of Frank's ideas are not what I'm looking for in a D&D campaign world

Sounds like Frank and his team have made some very reasonable changes. Good luck to them! :D

Furthermore, after this announcement, I think we can all agree any good discussion of the viability of the initial KS effort has run its course.

Agreed; time to move on. I appreciate all the insight and hilarity this thread has generated, but, let’s not beat a dead horse.

NOTE: Decided to move the thread back to General for various reasons.
