Kewlmarine's certainly had a lot to say on Tenkar's Tavern about how evil Dragonsfoot is. Mind you, the comments section of the Tavern is like a who's who of people we've banned for bloody good reasons.

Not much to add that others haven’t said. I met Frank at one of the LGGCs, while Gary was still alive. Frank ran AD&D (the only game he ever ran, he said—that seemed kind of humble). Honestly, his game session was nothing to write home about, but, that was okay. In those days it felt like we were Gary’s crew, and it seemed like he was one of the guys. Was it a façade? It was very different from the present Prince—megalomaniacal, boastful, threatening, too good for the old school movement and the communities that birthed it, furious when questioned. I haven’t head of any negative interactions like this from before Gary’s death, but I could be missing something.

Thanks. Looking at his comments at Tenkar's, I should have recognised him by his posting style. Definitely the same fellow! :)

Desperation has an ugly smell.

Maybe his dog hacked his account. The same dog that ate his homework when he was a kid.

I suppose, at 40 years of age, I shouldn't be surprised or shocked by what I've read today, but I am. I guess it's because I've met Frank. He was super nice to me.

I knew there was bad blood between Frank and EOTB, but this is . . . disheartening.

That reminds me of the guy who was caught downloading CP and (in all seriousness) claimed it must have happened accidentally when his cat walked on his keyboard.

The really baffling thing to me is that people are still claiming that EOTB is a troll and DF is a cesspool. I’ve seen trollings and cesspools; this is nothing

If anyone has the “conversation … in 50 pt font” that EOTB was talking about (I presume that was from before Frank edited his message), could you post it or PM it to me?

Okay, apparently this was in the original September 8 post:

Heh...the original PM reads like a couple of one-sided, industry insider, conversations I've had over the years. One was with Bill Webb, and the others were with Rob Kuntz. In none of the cases, though, was the venom directed at me personally.

But suffice It to say that Frank doesn't have a monopoly on venom or harsh language!

Heh. I seriously doubt he was hacked.
Maybe he accidentally wrote his password down and threw it in the trash and somebody pulled it out of the dumpster.
The DUNGEON MASTERS GUIDE City of Brass cover is good and bad at the same time. While its very representational of a high level adventure, it sends a clear message to the dumb: Satan is going to cornhole Miss USA with a big red member and theres nothing science or the military can do about it. - Gene Weigel
