Hey, what is Tacojohn's game on Saturday night? I can't seem to find it.

I managed to get the weekend off this year, for a change, so I signed up for NTRPG. I'm signed up for the Thur Night Castle Greyhawk, and Sat B2 Keep on the Borderlands. And two other events I cant remember the names of right now. Looking forward to a convention where 1st edition OD&D are being played. Seems like all I can find lately is 5th in my area.

Well, in the sad wake of the loss of Chainsaw's games, I've now shifted things around and I've got a great convention schedule lined up for me. I fly in Thursday, then:

Thursday Night: social with a bunch of lug-heads
Friday Afternoon: Spire of Iron and Crystal with Mythmere (an anniversary "Return to LaQuinta" event)
Friday Night: Castle Greyhawk with Grodog
Saturday Afternoon: Isle of Dreadmoor with Steve
Saturday Night: Arden Vul: The Tomb of the Twins with TacoJohn

I may offer my own thing Sunday morning for the first time, just to see how it goes. Then again, I might just sleep-in and hit the road back home!

According to Google maps this is only a 5 hour drive for me. I do believe I shall attend this event.

It's a lot of fun! I myself will be there probably off and on; I live a little over an hour away, so sleeping at home is viable (though not as fun as getting sauced and crashing there for the night). I'd considered inviting friends from the con over for some gaming and dinner, but realized that it would be impossible to do it and not conflict with everyone's gaming schedules. Maybe someday.

This will be my 4th year, and it's really fun. I try to get in as many games as I can beforehand, because it's always hard to find a seat if you don't pre-schedule.

I'm a bit confused on the registration process.

Right now grodog's Castle Greyhawk game on Friday evening shows 6/13 available, but when I try to buy a ticket it says that 0 tickets are available. So are those remaining 7 spaces on a first-come, first-served basis?

Half of the tickets are allocated for pre-sale. The other half can only be obtained on April 15th at midnight, first-come first-serve.

Unless I'm mistaken, that's how it's been done in the past.

I see. Thank you. It would be nice if that information was clear on their website.

The schedule I'm currently aiming for is:

Thu: B1 In Search of the Unknown @18:00
Fri: Ghost Tower of Inverness @13:00 (confirmed), grodog's Castle Greyhawk @19:00
Sat: B2 Keep on the Borderlands @13:00, Arden Vul @20:00.

I thought about Allan's Ghost Tower game too, but I might run something in that time slot.

You're gonna miss out on the social Thur. night . . . but I hear Mike's B1 game is really fun.
