Yeah, that was a good use of the aerial servant! Was that you at the other end of the table?

That was a bit bloody! Most survived, but only barely. My highlight was having my magic user dimension door behind the Medusa and successfully throw a bag over her head.
I'll definitely be using that next time I face a medusa. Count me as one of the people who didn't realize the DM was the author at first. I've never really been a module guy. He was a great DM though, and the module was a lot of fun.

Affirmative! I was the guy with the walkie-talkie.
Truth is worth finding and life is too short to work for money.
All of the awesome advances in technology have made it about 20 times more complicated for me to upload my pictures. Here's one of Steve running Castle Dreadmoor on Wed. When I have time for the next 17 step voodoo ritual, I'll upload and post another.
Thanks everyone for making this convention as fun as it was.
To Ratbreath for lending his gem of true seeing to benjoshua.
To benjoshua for everything he does for the convention and for rescuing my invisible dying character from underneath the dead purple worm and for putting up with my phantasmal force goblin solar with choirs of goblins singing its praises.
To tetramorph for all the games we shared, for waving his trident on the dead body of a giant crab, for letting me rib him about going to bed too early, and particularly for sharing a steak with me.
To Chainsaw for letting me (and EotB) pick up his room reservation when he couldn't make it and for being willing (along with Jeff T.) to let me run his pre-published adventure at the con (which I didn't run, because I didn't feel like I could do it justice . . . this year).
To grodog for another great game of Castle Greyhawk, for tolerating my mediocre roleplaying regarding feeding cheese to one of his creations, and for selling the best products at the convention (seriously, the best). We'll take on Pazuzu next time.
For tacojohn for running Arden Vul and being so free and open with letting me do insane damage with my goblin illusionist. Goblin headed hydras have never been so fun. I've not been keen on picking up megadungeon products, but this one seems right up my alley.
To austinjimm for gaming with me and putting up with my multiple requests for signatures.
To capitalbill for being in several games with me and letting me ramble on about my illusions in Arden Vul.
To Welleran for running his megadungeon in the dark on Wed. night and for helping me convince EotB to come play.
To Siegetower (Welleran's brother, I believe) for the many games we played together. I saw the 18/00. I'll probably never see that in a convention game again.
For everyone else who I forgot to mention.
And most of all, to EotB, for being a great roommate, listening to me ramble at night, and for running some great underwater adventures for all of us. Thanks for your preparation and willingness to run games off grid.

Wait, that was EotB who joined us? I thought he was just a random NPC.
Anyway this was my first con of any sort ever and also my first time meeting people from a forum in real life. I have to say the whole experience was very positive and I plan to be there next year.
