We had a TPK, right when the power went out. Apropos.

You guys are dicks for not Skyping him in. In this age of technology, we can get shit-faced remotely now.

My flight is supposed to land at Love Field at 3:10pm. Then Lyft over.

I'll be ready for the K&KA social this evening.

Chainsaw, you will be missed. I'll have to find a way for my character to kill Alucard next year, I suppose.

Fight on!

Opening night for the Isle of Dreadmoor ended in a TPK.

Everyone was eaten by Cthulhu.

Right after that, everything went dark. Quite literally.

Finished my first On Grid game as DM, Forgotten Grottoes of the Sea Lords. Five levels lost and two PCs killed, with one reincarnated as an ogre using a found scroll and one replaced by a weird goblin-like creature the party found and did not kill. I declare success

Back in the Isle of Dreadmoor again. Not technically dead, but the party is also lost after being teleported to a random room. My hit point progression went as follows: 17, 12, 8, 3, 0, 9, 4, 2, 0, 6, 0.

It was my pleasure to drag your unconscious body around the dungeons of Castle Dreadmoor.

Hey, at least you survived... sort of. Given all the things you've been through, you should probably have a few CHA points knocked off.

Bill: Argh, this thing's attached to my head, help!
Group Member 1: Here, let me aim my crossbow and fire it at your head. That should help! Oops.
Bill: Please... don't... ow. Collapse.
Group Cleric: Heals Bill back to his feet.
Group Member 2: Here, let me show you how to do it right...
Bill: No... stop... ow.

At least you fared better than the evil cleric in the party. Who can say which caused his death, the party, or the monster?

Argh, another stealth forum member! Where were you sitting? Lots of people carried Bill's unconscious corpse I think.

The best moment of the second Isle of Dreadmoor game was when the party finally managed to find the entrance to escape with their hard-won loot, only to decide to open "just one more door."

"Hey, it's near the entrance, what's the worst that could happen? If it's a monster we don't want to fight, we'll just dump Bill's unconscious body while we make a run for it."

The worst that could happen was they entered a room with something that had 20 random effects, one of which is to teleport the party to a random room in this maze of a dungeon. Yeah, you can guess which one they rolled!

Amazingly enough, when the group managed to (again) find the dungeon entrance, Bill actually walked out under his own power.
