Return to the Tower of Zenopus

Forty years ago adventurers first braved the dungeon under the ruined tower of the wizard Zenopus. Fearsome monsters were overcome and fabulous treasure recovered, but the doom of Zenopus was never revealed. The stairway leading down to the dangerous passages was eventually bricked over by order of Lady Lemunda, current ruler of prosperous Portown. However, recently your party uncovered a previously unknown means of entry. What secrets remain to be discovered in the old dungeons? Meet at the Green Dragon Inn and adventure as Boinger, Zereth, Murray or another character from J. Eric Holmes' stories (pre-generated characters will be provided). This adventure from the Zenopus Archives celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Holmes Basic D&D set.

Gary Con Game Approved

I plan to run it twice, once on Fri, once Sat. I requested 9 AM - 1 PM (4 hours) for each day, but they are not scheduling until they get more games submitted.
My games have have been scheduled now, and I got the requested times. They are in the new location, Forum AB, which is a "Convention Center Hall" in the main hotel building. It's far from the other games but nearer to some of the rooms. At least 370 games over the four days are scheduled for that location this year.

Update: my Friday event is cancelled, as I'm helping Paul Stormberg to DM his tourney. I don't know where/when that'll be listed yet.

We were thinking about joining that one, Allan! We'll have to grab you elsewhen.

I'm running AS&SH Thu 12-4 and Sun 12-4.

Good news! I managed to weasel out of my work obligation, so I should be able to attend. My plan is to arrive Weds by noonish (capitalbill traveling with me) and leave first thing Sunday morning. I’ve already cancelled my on-grid games, but I’m not signing up to play anything, so I’ll bring my Foolsgrave and Lost Treasure of Atlantis (f.k.a. The Strange Tale of Crystal Point) and, as long as I’m not severely hungover, be happy to run them for friends and family whenever we have interest. If we can’t find a table, we’ll Uber/taxi over to the old Lodge bar or something.

Awesome! I was hoping to do another Foolsgrave delve.

Does this mean the Wed night Foolsgrave game is back on?

Also, glad to see you'll make it after all.

Gold registration is today, so I wanted to recap what off-grid games I can offer folks now that I am attending again. Starting times relatively negotiable in general, whether ~7, ~730, ~8. Mainly a function of when people want to start playing and how quickly we can find a table. PM me and I’ll make sure you have my cell so that we can coordinate.

Weds ~730PM: capitalbill, Cloak n’ Dagger (and son), Ancalagon, Iron Ranger, Druvas, Ar’Pharazon, Todd, Angelo, Scott (full)

Thurs afternoon: game for Joe Mac’s crew (full)

Friday ~730PM: capitalbill, Josh, Welleran, Brian, Dex, Del, gizmomathboy, under_score (full)

Sat ~730PM: capitalbill, lige, Paul, francisca, Guy, EOTB, Josh, grodog, Ernesto, Scott (full)

Chainsaw, count me in on Friday night please! Edit: Oh wait — maybe Saturday. I'll figure out which later.

2 pm Michael Simon's Hyperborea: The Jewels of Shuven
(this leaves a slot for 7:30-ish Chainsaw's Foolsgrave)

Glad you signed up, Guy!

I'm in, if you still have room :D

Now, do you have my PC, or do I, that is the question. I assume that I do, but if you can check through your PCs folder, I'd appreciate it, Donovan!
