Spotted Cow and Road Sludge by New Glarus, at our local watering hole. We're part of the "mug club" and our mugs are pretty sexy. Sadly, we won't be able to get near the place next week because of the US Open.

Re: Brew 2017
This afternoon's drink I'm calling Da Bomb. That's because a WW2 bomb washed up on the beach two hundred yards from the place we're staying. It's still there. Three days later! You'll note the caution tape. The drink is rum, Nassau Royale liqueur, pineapple an orange juice, and lime. The bomb is likely a 100 pound GP bomb. The cigar is a Cohiba from Cuba. All three are pretty cool.

Did some yard work (never a good idea mid-afternoon during a Texas summer). I'm cooling down with my second St. Arnold Lawnmower.

Welleran, what do you think of the Cuban cigars? I've had some Cubans, recently, and thought they were good, but I wasn't blown away. They seemed about on par with quality non-Cuban cigars (e.g., Nicaraguan, Honduran).

I'm not an expert by any stretch, but the Partagas and Cohiba Cubans we had were way better and smoother than the Padrons we smoked earlier. That was the universal call by me, my brother and wife.Philotomy Jurament wrote:Welleran, what do you think of the Cuban cigars?
