I think either grodog or tacojohn got it. I saw one of them with it, as I recall.

It was on my short list of things to get, along with the Twisting Stair, but I had almost no spending cash and finally decided on an original copy of Gamelord's The Compleat Tavern for my big splurge.

I picked up a copy.

I can never seem to make it home from either Gary Con or North Texas without some additions to the collection. This year at Texas I picked up: Tales of Peril, both issues of the Twisting Stair, the Night of the Walking Wet, Mothshade Concepts' two OD&D supplements and adventure, Judges Guild's Verbosh and Journal #20, and of course Jimm and Steve's fantastic module the Mystic Cup of Gygax (Alucard's Revenge!) with commemorative K&KA boxed set.
Still searching for that walking treasure chest...

Here's the map I made from Welleran's Desert Shrine of the Sightless Sisters game. Fun game, great DM. Lots of medusa.

I did indeed, but haven't spent any time between its covers yet....

Balrog62 grabbed a copy. I was thumbing through it at his place last Friday before a game. Interesting...but I didn't read it closely enough to speak about whether the revisions do make it more playable.

Yep, I picked up a copy because I had tried to run it a few years back. I've not had a chance to really look it over though. That's the reading for this weekend. I'll report back and let you all know.

BTW, still have plenty of copies of The Dungeoneer Revisted: Night of the Walking Wet ($15) and Return From Dragonmount ($10) if anyone is interested. Just PM me here or email me (badmike3@aol.com). The Dungeoneer Revisted series will continue the next two years with F'Chelerak's Tomb and Borshak's Lair! Night of the Walking Wet was very challenging, but I think Zach Glazar and I did a good job making it actually readable (and runnable).

A few things we did to make it more playable: Rearranged the order of the adventure, putting the "Stained HIstory" first (history and timeline of the dungeon), and making sure all the monstrers/characters conformed to OD&D + Greyhawk supplement rules; including the descriptions of the magic items Pipes of Caleb and Ring of the Slime God from earlier issues of The Dungeoneer; likewise, included the monster descriptions for the unique creatures (the original didn't have these, and referred you back to earlier issues); removed a few awkward, badly worded, or extraneous sentences (Jennell was not even 20 when she wrote this!) and fixing obvious spelling errors, and (obviously) making it a more readable font. Our goal was to make the adventure easily used with just the booklet at hand, and I think we succeeded. There has never been many "ready to run" OD&D adventures out there, now there is at least one more! Let me know if you find any further mistakes, or have any suggestions for changes.

Night of the Walking Wet was definitely old-school in feel and presentation. I had never read this adventure before, so it was a journey back in time. For one thing, these older modules allowed “magic” to do almost anything. Ironically, it feels like magic in fantasy rpg’s began to be guided by more realistic, ie constrained, parameters as D&D grew and matured. While I understand the reasons for this, it’s refreshing to look back when creators were…more creative with their adventure writing. Badmike's edits definitely made the adventure more readable and playable. While there is no statement about the recommend level of characters, or total character levels, I would guess it’s an adventure for 4-7 characters of 4th to 6th level, or about 25 total character levels. I recommend this reprint. :)

Here's another reprint of this adventure for free (but it's missing an important [the marsh] map!):

Hi everyone! I've been away from the gaming scene for a few years and decided it was time to get back into it. NTRPG seemed like a good way to start and I couldn't be happier that I went, even if it was for only one day. I played in Austinjimm's Friday night Oddbox of Zoforon game and had a blast! I dragged my 25 year old son along and he came away as excited as a kid at Christmas. Thanks to everyone for making things awesome.

They sent me an e-mail asking for money for "third party hosting." I told them I wouldn't pay them, I suppose this is their revenge. I'm looking into alternate solutions.
