Is this not so?

That's what I was planning. I was responding to Chainsaw's post where he had us both with questions marks.austinjimm wrote:I thought, based on the posts above, that you were running a scenario in place of me, slot #1.EOTB wrote:I'm working on a few rooms, happy to DM or play, either one.

OK, cool!EOTB wrote:That's what I was planning. That's fine with me. I don't know how Jon and Donovan feel, but I would like the characters to have a fair amount of magic and stuff.austinjimm wrote: OK, cool!
I can still oversee character generation, if you want. We were going to let everybody make a quick 6th or 7th level character.
Check upthread for a PDF of the Character Creation Doc I put together.EOTB wrote:That's fine with me. I don't know how Jon and Donovan feel, but I would like the characters to have a fair amount of magic and stuff.austinjimm wrote: OK, cool!

Maybe we should work out spellbooks and a list of magic items in advance?
I bet that we'll be just fine with only 2 DMs. If somebody else wants to volunteer for your slot, that's great, but I will be in no condition by that time of night.Chainsaw wrote:I just found out that I may not be able to arrive until very late Thurs or even Friday morning, but I won't know until probably the week of the convention. If someone can take my spot now that's probably ideal because we'll both have certainty, but at the very least I need a back up in case the timing goes against me.
Works for me. I will still prepare and be ready to take the late shirt if I can make it in time.austinjimm wrote:I bet that we'll be just fine with only 2 DMs. If somebody else wants to volunteer for your slot, that's great, but I will be in no condition by that time of night.Chainsaw wrote:I just found out that I may not be able to arrive until very late Thurs or even Friday morning, but I won't know until probably the week of the convention. In years past, trying to squeeze in 3 DMs in 6 hours, has sometimes felt a bit crowded.
So, how's this:
#1 Austinjimm: Character Creation
#2 EOTB: The Few Rooms of the Happy DM
#3 TacoJohn: Poseidon's Deadly Temple of the TPK
Sound good?

Hahah! Yes. Well, to be honest, thinking about it more, maybe easier for you guys to prepare your material if you know the time expectation. Probably better for me to bow out and keep things simple. Plus what Jimm said about crowding.EOTB wrote:FIFYChainsaw wrote: Works for me. I will still prepare and be ready to take the red shirt if I can make it in time.
Sorry if I'm the A-hole, but I'd much rather hear-- I have a scenario. It's solid. And I will run it come Hell or high water. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!EOTB wrote:It's always good to have more people prepared than there are slots. You never know if someone is going to get sick, or have travel issues, etc.
I wouldn't discourage anyone from preparing something to run, even if we think we have more than enough.
