Published stats for Fairies in AD&D?
We have pixies, sprites, nixies, all types of elves, sylphs, nymphs, nixies, etc. but I don't recall any stats for fairies per se. Were there any, perhaps in Dragon magazine?

It doesn't look like much, if any, under "Faerie" (or fairy for that matter), but I didn't look under the individual names of faeries: http://www.aeolia.net/dragondex/monsters.html#fthedungeondelver wrote:Were there any, perhaps in Dragon magazine?
WD had a series of articles about Faerie around issue 37-ish, IIRC. Might be worth looking for.

Looking for something a little less Dunsany/Tolkien and more ... I dunno, half human sized, gossamer wings, that sort of thing.

I think pixies are meant to cover that, basically.
Between Elves, Halflings, and Pixies, I’m not sure how many more fairy-types you want to squeeze in, you know?

I guess what I'm after are, again, the halfling sized, winged fairies who kidnap or coerce humans into their hill "kingdoms" for a single "night" (and when their "guests" leave, find that thirty, forty or fifty years have passed and themselves instantly catch up in age), dispatch goblins to snatch the occasional human baby to raise as their own and leave a changeling in it's place, and so on. There's nothing in the various 1e AD&D bestiaries that fit the bill.
Quicklings, maybe, would do. I may just have to brew these up myself.
