Anyone ever use a Styx Devil?

Anyone ever use a Styx Devil?
Looking at these guys last night and wondering why they don't rule Hell. Each time they touch someone they have a 50% chance of imprisoning them. I guess they still have to make a "to hit" roll and they would have a hard time hitting Arch-devils, but still. Damn.

Yeah, pretty insanely nasty
It's not surprising they would loose the imprisonment plus at will/touch in later editions.
I've used them in 1e a couple times, but one needs to be VERY careful with them. In honesty, I'd not use them as per the FF again, but rather a modified version (borrowing some 2 & 3e+ ideas)
