Got into one of my three choices (Descent into Vladikavaz) tried for Saturday Bottle City and Ghul's friday night game but I was too slow. At least I got a couple of back ups in before the site stopped accepting my silver pieces :wink:

My AD&D events are moving (it'll be nice to see chainsaw and EOTB at the table!) but no love for my Mongoose Traveller game yet.

Maybe next year we can bribe Jeff into a K&KA-only table, since there's clearly at least six people here, alone, that want to play in his game.

Allan also.

No worries! I was a little bummed that I couldn't sign up for Aliens! Luckily, I played it yesterday (one of my non-D&D friends was over for a boardgame day and requested it).

The Queen dies an ignominious death at the hands, or flame unit, of Ripley (i.e. I must be doing something wrong AND I rolled incredibly bad for the Queen):

Thursday
=======
10:00AM - 12:30PM Aliens (along with my 2 oldest sons)
6:00PM - Midnight Caverns of Thracia (with my oldest son)

Friday
=====
10:00AM - 2:00PM Descent Into Vladikavkaz
2:00PM - 7:00PM Bottle City

Saturday
=======
10:00AM - 2:00PM Trouble in Vikland (DMing)

Very light this year, largely because that saturday is my oldest son's 15th birthday, so we'll be finding somewhere to take him out for dinner that night.

I'll be bringing some boardgames (EON's Cosmic encounter and probably RoboRally, maaaayyybeeee Crimson Skies). I'll be generally hanging out wednesday night, mid-day thursday, and post 8-9PM saturday night. We'll be staying until monday, and sunday is wide open for me. I'm sure some sort of pickup gaming will ensue.

Rich, if you want a really nice (and thematic) dinner, I recommend Medusa downtown. It's a bit pricey, but the food is phenomenal. We (my brother and friend) hit it every year for a good dinner!

That would rock, especially if you got it into the convention video highlights/feeds (assuming that they do videos this year) :D

I was asleep when registration opened. :oops: Time to go there now and see what's left.

I don't know - maybe now they've got everything fixed. And I'm not freaking out if I don't get any VIP events. If I can find some AD&D, I'll be fine.

At this time last year I just returned from Winter War to find all the games I really wanted were filled. Thankfully, there was no such conflict this year and I was ready.

Friday
====
10 - 1230 grodog's Aliens game
4 - 8 DM Prata's B3.5 AD&D game

Saturday
======
8 - 12 Rasmussen's Top Secret game
12 - 330 Haylock's Star Frontiers game
6 - 12 grodog's Bottle City AD&D game

I'll be there with a guy I started to play D&D with when I was like 6 yrs old. In hindsight, I regret not finding a way to get into one of tacojon's games. I've played in jon's games the other two times I was there and had a great time. I also regretted not playing in liegedog's games. I've been reading his session reports here and think I like his style of play. I don't know what got into me in registering for the Top Secret and Star Frontiers games. I haven't played either in over 20 years and it just seemed like a good idea at the time.

Looking forward to the con!

Well, didn't get into francisca's game but I'll be busy nonetheless

Thursday
8am-noon The Lost Crypts of the Fire Opal
noon-4pm Circus Maximus Prelim (running)
4pm-8pm From the Gamehole: Steve Jackson's OGRE

Friday
8am-noon Circus Maximus Prelim (running)
2pm-6pm Circus Maximus Prelim (running)
8pm-midnight A Glowing Arch

Saturday
10am-12:30pm Aliens: This Time It's War!

So, get in Wednesday and see what is about and play it by ear on Saturday. Leaving early Sunday I think.

I've always wanted to play this one, because I hear it's great, but every year there's something else that winds up taking priority.

Lots of fun!

Next year maybe I'll run something. Should give me enough time to get my shit together. :lol:
