Offering refunds was part of the PR coup. You were supposed to be so impressed, you weren’t supposed to actually ask for a refund.

What I took away from the latest update was that Autarch was going to be releasing a LL version after all; one based significantly off the draft and also shipping sooner than the ACKS version, which will be taken in a new direction.

I don't remember how much I am in for with this Kickstarter- I know it's not a lot, and I long since decided to let it ride to see what I actually get.

I do want to figure out how I can get my hands on this Devilmount- "a megadungeon parody done from the prospective of a teenager who loves Satan, aliens, doom metal, and cough syrup." I could get behind that!
Still searching for that walking treasure chest...

Just send them another US$50 in tens and smaller, non-consecutive serial numbers.

Hey, remember back a year ago today when I called out Dwimmermount and hurt James Maliszewski's feelings so badly that he deleted his account, and I got a ton of flak both on and off the site (including via email) of folks questioning my motives and saying I was just jealous of his success, including at least a few people who said my negativity is what convinced them to contribute to the project as if that would somehow put me in my place? Guess what - I was right. You're all welcome.

Did James post in that thread?

The one thing I think when rereading that thread is "I don't think Keith posted his sahuagin lair??"

You don't know what you're talking about. Devilmount is connected to the kickstarter project, but is not part of the project, wasn't a reward, etc....

Supporters have had access to drafts of Dwimmermount from soon after it was funded. When the author went AWOL, Autrach invited contributors to take what was there and finish it. A guy named Jack Shear knocked out Devilmount in about a week. He had some copies printed up and sold them at cost to anyone who wanted them.

I asked for a refund a week ago and have yet to receive it.

EDIT: Received the next day after this post.

I still plan on buying James' copy if he makes one available.

There’s got to be a “private link” on Lulu.

Not that I'm aware of. I distinctly remember him asking for who wanted one, then getting that many printed up and shipped out.

Of the upper levels it is just awaiting editing, the lower stuff probably needs more but I haven't got that deep yet. (EDIT the last file is 220 ish pages long - word doc)

I have a copy of Devilmount coming soon so I'll let you know how it is.

I know you can make MOO cards available for others to print. They're not poker card sized but they are print-on-demand and they're very nice quality. I just got an e-mail from them lately saying that there's a 25% off sale until April 8th.

There was a free-box-of-minicards offer on some time back so I made up some B/X character sheets, but since the timeframe was so tight, they're not that pretty. The text side is alright but it would have been nice to have a nice graphic for the reverse side which I used for equip and spells. Also, minicards are just a little bit too small. Regular business cards would've been more practical.

I can give MOO a hearty endorsement as well. In fact, just yesterday, I received my newest batch of cards. These are the four designs, art by Ian Baggley, and with one card flipped over so you can see the reverse. These are the "minicards" that deathanddrek mentions above. 25% off is a great coupon. I just got one, too.
