Flesh to stone (weight).

Post by AxeMental »

In our last session a PC was turned to stone. Does the DMG (or perhaps Dragon) mention what sort of weight increase this would result in (or the type of stone)? For instance, if a 170 pound human of 6' height was turned to stone, what might they weigh?

Considering the strengths and sizes of the remaining party members (two average half elf wimps and a halfling), this guy may have to be left behind (if he's too heavy).

Per a google search: A 200 Lb person would weigh 550 pounds when rendered in granite, or 520 pounds in marble.

Ha! We had this exact problem about ten years ago, and lacking Google I went with "heavy". :D

I would just say flesh-weight x 2.5 for any stone. Now I'll have to invent a flesh to lead spell.

And then you need to know how quickly the PC will melt if he get too close to a torch, or how long until he suffers lead rot if not immediately coated with primer ;)
