Can you tell I am rereading the clerical spells for content?
Anyone ever use this spell and dedicate hit point values and AC values for animated objects? I wonder if the automaton from Dragon #101 would be useful for this? Perhaps Kuntz's "Living Room"?
What hit dice would you use for "to hit" rolls? 0-level, the cleric's chance to hit? Something else?
(how about the combat-type Bigby hand spells?)

Re: Clerical Animate Object
Living Room has some excellent guidelines, IIRC. I'll pull it off the shelf later to validate.darnizhaan wrote:Anyone ever use this spell and dedicate hit point values and AC values for animated objects?
