Cleric Spell: Light in Reverse form

So, I'm reading the description for Light, and noting the language regarding the reversed version.

The 1st level MU Light spell is the same, with the exceptions noted above the description regarding casting time etc.... Note that the MU version is *not* reversible.

Also note that the 2nd level MU spell, Darkness, 15' Radius, specifically spells out that the darkness it creates is impenetrable by ulta/infravision, whereas the reversed version of the Cleric spell does not.

My conclusion: The reversed version of the Cleric spell "Light", is penetrable by Ultra/Infravision.

Valid conclusion?

I'd a agree with that. In an odd way (and only if you need), you could "rationalize" that clerical darkness is more natural than wizardly darkness.

Well, since the MU spell is the same level as the clerical version, I was going to rationalize it as "the second level spell is mightier mojo".

And that's the better answer.
